Outdoor adventures for teens of all abilities.

The Adventure Leadership Program (ALP) is a program of Wilderness Inquiry, a Minnesota based non-profit organization that provides outdoor adventure experiences throughout the world for more than 10,000 persons annually.  Launched in 2005 with support from the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation, ALP is based on Wilderness Inquiry’s staff training curriculum. 

Our goal in creating ALP is to provide teenagers with more than just opportunities for high adventure outdoor programming.  We want teens to learn about and value diversity, both in the natural world and among the people all around them.  We do this so today’s teens will become tomorrow’s inclusive leaders.
